"Why'd it Have to be Snakes?"

Went to see the new Indiana Jones Sunday at the super cool 'vintage' Allred Theatre in Pryor.

I was ridiculously excited, and despite a few flaws in the film, I left with a feeling of glee. What more can you ask for. Man, I'd forgotten how hot Harrison Ford is! Had to come home and watch Raiders of the Lost Ark. Happiness. May sneak the other two in this week.

Had my own Indy moment last weekend when Chris caught a glimpse of a snake slithering under our bathroom cabinet. When he told me I'd have to help him get to it, the neighbors probably thought he was killing me. I squalled quite a lot. Tarantulas, bugs, mice, sharks, lizards... I can deal with all of those things. Snakes are a very different story. Especially when they're in my house. Fast forward through a bunch of screaming and threats and cursing and dancing and snakes coming back to life after you thought they were dead... the house is now snake-free. That's what I'm telling myself at least.

On May 12th, I decided to take part in a lil' challenge where you take twelve photos throughout your day and then scrapbook them. Here's the inspiration. I got kind of impatient to start my project, so I printed my own pics. Long story short, they were larger than I anticipated, so I ended up making a mini album with my Twelve of Twelve pics. "We're Gonna Have a Good Time"

A few tidbits of awesomeness to share for this Friday:

1. We're going to see Charlie Robison tonight! I think this will be #7. The eighth if you count that time that we went but had to leave before he came on stage due to an unfortunate encounter with Taco Bell. And they'll be closer to home this time, which I'm very excited about. None of this driving to Oklahoma City crap. I hate Oklahoma City. On a slight downer, I just found out his stellar guitar player Kevin Carroll went solo and won't be along. But overall, yay!!! Here's a somewhat crappy page I did about a year ago to show the Charlie love. It was my first stitching experiment...

2. My Mother's Day card was featured on ScrapScene last week! I'd honestly never seen their site until I heard through the Memorable Seasons MB that I was on it. Woohoo! Sorry the card's not for you Mom. :) It was for a swap.

3. It's a gorgeous day, supposed to be a gorgeous weekend, and I get to spend it all at or near home. This is a rare luxury. Party on.
